Shenzhen Tinno Mobile Technology Corp

TINNO is an original design manufacturer working closely with international first-class wireless communication chip enterprises. It has top-grade ability in Asia for structural design, a global supply chain system and efficient distribution channels.

In addition to making phones for other brands, TINNO also has created its own mobile phone brands like Sugar Phone and Wiko Mobile. TINNO has an extensive patent portfolio in core technologies such as RF, CPU and software.

Tinno’s GPS Tracker Solution Brings Satellite Communication Beyond the Segmented Market

Shenzhen Tinno Mobile Technology Corp (hereinafter referred to as “Tinno”) was established in June 2005 with the dream of becoming a world-class hardware provider with the strongest creativity and the best efficiency. It has now become a leading ODM supplier with global partners and customers in the industry.

As a company devoted to innovation, Tinno has mastered the latest mobile phone technology, including 5G millimeter wave products. It has a strong structural design ability and owns top-grade capability in Asia, and it has a comprehensive supply chain system. It also boasts large production bases in Heyuan, Nanchang, Yibin and Haiphong, as well as advanced manufacturing equipment and a global logistics distribution network.

The GPS Tracker solution developed by Tinno enables users to experience satellite communication services without having to change their smartphones. It supports four major global satellite positioning systems, namely GPS (United States), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (Europe) and Beidou (China), and it offers two-way satellite messaging functionality. With this, users can keep in touch with loved ones even in special environments where there are no cellular communication networks. Besides, it can also be used for vehicle tracking, fleet management and agriculture monitoring. The underlying technology of the solution is based on MTK’s advanced satellite chipset. In addition, the solution supports seamless handoff between the satellite and cellular networks, such as 5G SA/NSA, 4G TDD/FDD, and GSM.

Tinno’s GPS Tracker Solution Supports Four Major Global Satellite Positioning Systems

Whether you’re tracking people, vehicles or assets, GPS systems allow you to keep tabs on their locations. Using a process called trilateration, the system determines your position on Earth by sending signals from satellites in orbit. Depending on the number of satellites that receive those signals, the device can calculate your precise location.

Currently, the world’s three major satellite positioning systems—GPS (United States), GLONASS (Russia), and Galileo (Europe)—cover about 95% of the globe. A fourth constellation, BeiDou (China), has recently become available and will soon be in full operation.

Each satellite in the network emits microwave signals that can be received by receivers on the ground. Those receivers measure the time it takes for the signals to reach them from each of the satellites in the constellation, and by doing so can calculate your exact location on the planet to within 7.05 meters.

A GPS receiver then uses the information about its distance from three of the satellites to compute a 3-D location: latitude, longitude, and altitude. The system also incorporates atomic clock readings from the satellites to give you the most accurate time data possible. As a result, the system is able to deliver your location in a matter of seconds.

Tinno’s GPS Tracker Solution Provides Two-Way Satellite Messaging Functionality

A GPS tracking system enables businesses to track equipment in real time. This allows fleet managers to see when equipment is running and when it’s not, allowing them to optimize dispatching and routing for productivity. It also helps fleets to reduce costs by streamlining administrative processes and digitizing the data that they need.

The GPS Tracker Solution takes satellite communication beyond the segmented market by pairing with any ordinary Android or iOS smartphone via Bluetooth or data cable and unlocking satellite communication capabilities. In addition to supporting the four major global satellite positioning systems, it’s the world’s first Android phone that supports two-way satellite communication, enabling broader signal coverage and shorter transmission times.

The rugged, pocket-sized device offers real-time Short Burst Data, SMS, and voice communications over the Iridium satellite network with complete global coverage. It is ideal for commercial and military use. Features include a high-resolution color touchscreen, status LED which can be turned off in a tactical environment, guarded emergency button and USB-C port for charging, firmware upgrades or device configuration. AES-256 or PECOS encryption is available for data security. The GPS Tracker Solution can be used to monitor shipping containers, barges, railcars, trailers, buoys or even a person. It is also used by militaries to track helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and ground vehicles.
